finally finished my Journey sculpture!!! these are all the views, but my favorite is here: [link]
i decided to call it "I'll Lead You" since i wanted to make a more experienced player (shown by the higher levels of gold embellishment on it's cloak) leading a new player and showing them what to do. the people at Thatgamecompany are geniuses. its just beyond belief how you can bond so quickly with complete strangers, and an hour and a half later you're fast friends looking out for eachother i guess this can be interpreted as two people meeting for the first time, in which case i'd call it "A Potential Friend"
i have to say thank you to all those amazing people out there who chose to lead others through the game and help them out. i had the good fortune to find a very kind white cloaked player who helped me and showed me everything they knew, and now that i have a white cloak too, i'm looking forward to doing the same for another player
so the actual place i sculpted in the game is the first fabric piece/scarf thing you find in the bridge level, but i added the gravestone since i like how they look
technical time! made with super sculpey on top of a wooden base and painted with acrylics
to those who haven't heard of journey, seriously, go look it up. NOW. it's life changing
It's a beautiful game, definitely worth checking out if you can! Oh gosh, thank you so much! I'll have to post the updated version soon, I'm so much happier with it now ;u;
Thank you so much! I truly appreciate the compliment, and I've actually added sand to the base since I took pictures of it but I haven't been able to take good enough new ones yet
You're welcome! I truly loved your work. I truly have to take a peek to your other works That's really cool!8D I'm sure the sand adds a special, real touch to the sculpture. I'd love to see other pictures of it
The base is 8 inches in diameter, and it's about 7 inches at the tallest point of the ribbon.
I'm currently working on a sculpture with cernit, and it's coming out somewhat similar to yours. I'm so sorry, I still hadn't seen your work! ç___ç
That's totally fine, no worries!
